Edward Pinshow Member, Board of Directors

A licensing pioneer, Edward has over 40 years’ experience in international marketing, brand and franchise development and joint ventures in China.

Edward has developed and been responsible for the acquisition and introduction of numerous major brands to Asia. He led an internationally renowned team in developing the market entry strategy for licensing and franchising into China and the Asian region.

Edward developed a unique approach to JV franchising with a modified hub development and management model. It has been accepted worldwide as a cost- effective and practical solution for scaled expansion.

Chief Executive Officer

Paolo Fanizza Member, Board of Directors

An experienced Chief Financial Officer with 27 years’ experience in various aligned industries, starting as McDonald’s European Controller and later leading its expansion in multiple countries.

Paolo was CFO for McDonald’s Italy before pioneering its expansion in China, Taiwan, South Korea, SE Asia and the Indian sub-continent. His career progressed to Western Union as APAC Vice-President, Operations, Havi Logistics HK as APMEA Chief Financial Officer, and S.F. Express where he was part of their M&A/investment team in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

With over 40 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, Jim is an innovative global specialist in strategic retail expansion and market development.

Jim’s 31-year career with McDonald’s focused on market development and strategic planning. He successfully developed innovative mapping solutions with data research for strategic site selection, making it possible for McDonald’s to grow their store count to over 30,000 worldwide. His solutions became the gold standard globally for multiple brands. He also led the charge in locating the brand in co-branded and alternative sites, opening up significant new revenue channels. Jim has continued to consult with leading brands such as Chipotle and McDonald’s and has an integral relationship with Revenue Management Solutions, where he advises their leadership.

PAUL FACELLA Member, Board of Directors

Paul wrote the book on business, literally. His stellar career at McDonald’s enabled him to hone the principles of break out success as a leading authority.

Paul held the position as McDonald’s Regional Vice President of New York, for 11 years. As a pupil of the legendary leaders Ray Kroc and Fred Turner, Paul took their teachings to heart. Working as a team with his staff, operators, and vendors, he took the New York Region to $600 million in revenues--a four-fold increase in profit and a 90% increase in store count. Paul is a renowned consultant and speaker who has also helped brands like Sbarro, Boston Market, Con Edison, Chilango, Horizon Blue Cross, amongst many others.

Peter Kaminsky Member, Board of Directors

An exceptional multi-jurisdiction finance operator, Peter has over 25 years’ experience.

Peter is a registered and licensed US Certified Public Accountant, who has spent over 25 years as the Managing Director of Asia operations for multinationals including; Carters Global Sourcing ltd., The Children's Place, Nike’s largest footwear subcontractor and PWC International Tax and Expatriate Tax.

Branding and Communications

Julia Brown

Julia is a brand maven with over 26 years' experience in branding and marketing communications in Asia.

Her experience includes brand guardianship for Inter Continental Hotels and Resorts within Asia, brand localisation for Castrol and FedEx and Asia-centric marketing for UBS. She co-founded Orijen in 2000, an independent branding and marketing group
working for blue-chip Asian brands and leading international brands within or entering Asia.
